Normal Pulmonary valve

Pulmonary valve is tricuspid with 3 leaflets - anterior, left and right.

  • Echocardiographic views of pulmonary valve are limited.
  • Best seen in Para-sternal short axis view at the aortic level.
  • Separates the pulmonary trunk and right ventricular outflow trunk.
